Hey everyone! I wanted to know some feedback by using "Hurst Review" what did you like or dislike about the program? Thank you!

There are many threads on this topic that you might find helpful.
I used Hurst and found it very helpful for studying content, however, I do feel that I could have done without it. If you struggle with content then you will benefit greatly from this review. They also have some test-taking tips and strategies but that is not the main focus of the review (as it is a content based review).
I liked that with the online review you could watch the videos as many times as needed, they broke down the material and explained it very well, and the "extra materials" were very helpful.
Dislike, I don't really have any complaints...I guess it would be nice if they focused more on test-taking strategies, but, again they are just a content-based review.
the only other complaint would be that their practice exams are based on their content, so, I did not find them realistic practice for NCLEX. Just my opinion.

Do you have any suggestions for test taking strategies?

I love, love, LOVE Hurst- I can’t say enough good things about it. Hurst is a great content review, which is what I needed. They make the information extremely easy to understand while also making it fun and interesting. I will say I didn’t care for their practice tests- they were very easy compared to NCLEX. For practice questions/tests and testing strategies I would use Kaplan and Lacharity. For content, go with Hurst!

I purchased Hurst last week and so far i like the review program....my plan is to Hurst soley for Content Review and use other resources for critical thinking, delegation, priority, etc. I found it easier to use to go over content (visual learning) than to carry and read entire book everyday.....hope this helps

LOVE Hurst! Can't recommend it enough! Content is put in such a simple way. Did Hurst from start to finish & loved it. It made everything "click". Worth every penny.

JLynn, everyone says Kaplan is better for strategy and Hurst is better for content.
