HPU Fall 2020

I applied before Feb 15. But when I called to ask about acceptance they said I didn't get everything in on time, which I did. So I showed receipts and threw a fit and they said I was being considered... they seem to be a little disorganized. I don't know why I haven't received any sort of notification from them yet. It's really frustrating.

I have heard of HPU being quite disorganized and not that great of a school. You have amazing grades and work ethic. I would apply to the best schools you can. Don’t fret about them. You got this!

When you looked at your application status, was it shown as complete? My letter of reference did not update after it was sent and I had to constantly call for someone to check on it because it was submitted. I didn’t get my application in complete status until the day before the application was due which was 2/14/20. Once your application was moved to complete status, you should have gotten an email from Suzy Prenovost to let you know that your application is under review. Maybe you can show admissions the e-Mail from Suzy to prove that your application was completed before the deadline.

I hope they can correct the issue for you soon!

Thanks for the help! The same thing happened with my letter of rec. even though I know my employer submitted it, super frustrating. It was shown as complete before the deadline, and when I never received that email from Suzy that's when I called and they didn't even really apologize, were just confused as to what happened. So I don't even know if they're reviewing my app with the priority deadline or the next one.... even though I had everything in on time.

Ugh that sucks! Hopefully KCC will continue with their program and we get selected to go there instead. The KCC thread said that there were only 80 applicants this time and you have a competitive TEAS score and outstanding grades. I’m positive you will get into KCC. Did you apply to UH?

Yeah, its been so incredibly annoying with HPU it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Obviously I would love to go to KCC over HPU but Ill take what I can get. I didn't apply to UH because of the english portion of my TEAS score being too low LOL

So discouraging getting waitlisted and not getting in last sem to KCC I don't have high hopes this time around hahaha I hope they at least accept a cohort! It would suck if their entire program is pushed back...
