How did you do on the TEAS?

Just wondering how anyone did on their Teas

I got an 80 so I am going to retake it. I was pretty bummed. Thought I did better.

That's awesome!! Congrats on the 90!

I am taking mine tomorrow...I retook the practice again tonight and got an 88 so I hope I can pull it up to higher than a 90!

I am in my 3rd semester of the RN program and got in with all As and an 88 TEAS.

I took my second TEAS today and scored an 88. That's better than my first score, but still not good enough, I'm afraid. I really blame myself because I didn't study until this week and even then only for a few hours, and I don't know why I expect to get in by slacking that way...I am making a calendar tonight to block off two hours a day for the next month (until I can take it the third time) to study different subjects. Also, when you all have retaken the TEAS, has it been the same test?

Great job Melissa! I got the same test both times I took it. It was nice to know what was coming, but scary too because I know that I missed some this time that I'd gotten right the previous time.

Well I got an 85.3% (yes I HAVE to tack on that 0.3% LOL) and I am not disappointed. I could have studied a LOT more than I did. On the practice last night I had a 61% in science and on the test today I scored a 73.3%. I just need to hunker down on chem and phys and I should be fine :)

Congrats, 85.3 sounds great!

Great job Kara!

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your TEAS test restuls once you take it? I hear at some campuses, it gives you your scores immediately and at others you have to wait a few weeks to get the scores in the mail.

It depends on how the campus administers the test. If you take it on the computer you get the results as soon as you finish the test. If its a pencil and paper test, then you have to wait. I got mine right away...I would assume all of Ivy Tech's campuses are the same.

Yup! I took mine on the computer in the testing center at Lawrence/Indy and also got the score report right away.

I am having so much trouble with the math. I got an overall 70.6. I could not finish the math. I have taken the MAT 050 as a refresher and got an A on MAT 118. I did not have enough time to finish the Math portion and got a 53.3. I don't know what it is... maybe I am getting to old. I am trying to do the LPN to RN program. I need a private tutor I think!? Frustrated and loosing hope!!! Any suggestions?

90.6. Dunno how that'll play at Ivy. I showed it to someone at IPFW, and the attitude I got was, "Eh. I've seen better and I've seen worse." Not what I would call a major confidence booster.
