How old is too old?

I have a VERY strong desire to obtain an LPN (and then go to an LPN to RN program). My big sticking point is that I [sometimes] think that I am too old. I am currently a nurse assistant. I just began in the health field about a year and a half ago. I am 52. I feel like 42 though. Maybe even 35. Thanks. Ken

(Does anyone know how to change your birthyear? jk)

You're honestly not too old - go get your LPN and have a blast doing so.

If you're enjoying healthcare, keep rolling with it! :)

If you're currently working as a CNA, you probably have good knowledge of the physical demands of nursing. So, just ask yourself if the financial investment is a good one. You could test the waters by taking a few prerequisite classes and seeing how it goes.

If you are currently a nurse assistant, and still want to become a nurse, please do! Even if you're 62! Best wishes!
