How much to study?

Hi there, I just got accepted into a BSN program (yay!) and I was wondering about how much I should expect to dedicate to studying? I've always been a good student and usually don't have any problems remembering things, but I wanted to see how others dealt with nursing school. Thanks in advance guys! :]

:bookworm: thats impressive, what do u take coffee? I'm thinking of getting a summer job but i don't want to ruin my grades.

I do 6 hours a day minimum and get A's. Ive seen people do less and get around the same, but it really depends on how well you retain the information.

study for as long as you can. when you cannot retain anything else, that is it for the day. the more you memorize, the better prepared you will be for the questions. concept maps/care plans are a big assistance, also. this semester was a wake up call for lots of students in my cohort. NOTE: we're comprised of 3.7 GPA +. 1/3 of my class failed because they prioritized everything other than school. i'm not the brightest person, but i have good work ethics... take it for what it is worth.
