How many classes are you taking this Spring?

Hi everyone, I was just wondering how many classes are you guys taking this Spring? I'm taking 4 and one is a CNA class. I was wondering if anyone has any study tips, time management advice for me? I'm not getting any hours at work at the moment, so I can focus on school work but I really have to study hard and put my all into my school work as school has always been hard for me. Any suggestions would helpful, thanks in advance.

2 classes. Have 3 left but one had time conflict.

A&P II plus humanities, 3 consecutive days /week :)

Planning on working during my free time.

- Study 6 days a week even if no homework / tests. Give yourself breaks. Exercise.

cna clinicals will take much time & evergy.

If you are taking more than 3 classes are you working as well? Just curious

I'm taking 3 classes AP , plus Ap Lab, Statistics, Ethics

Yep. I work 40-50 hours a week as an LPN.

I have two work-study jobs, but I'll only be working 15-20 hours a week. And I'll be volunteering at a local hospital on Saturdays.

I work as a Caregiver right now and I don't have any clients to work with at this time. So as of now I am not working but don't know if I will get someone to work for during the semester.

Thank you everyone for the advice and replies. I think I will be able to do it. I'm going to try my hardest at least. Good luck to all of you in this upcoming semester. :)

I'm taking physiology, microbiology, statistics (all with labs), pathophysiology, and abnormal psychology. I use ratemyprofessor and I know I'm going to have to read before I go to class and look over any extra information that comes from blackboard. I keep up with my assignment due dates and tests by reading the syllabi the first day of classes and saving all the dates in my calendar app on my phone. I also set several reminders for each assignment. Then I make a study plan that includes about 2-4 things to get done everyday. Remember, study groups are important. Choose wisely.

Yes, I agree study groups help me out A LOT! I do so much better when I can discuss the material work with other people on the subjects. Thank you!

Good day:

https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/how-get-any-846733.html is an excellent article. What I do is ask for the syllabi in advance, then work out a study plan. I block out a minimum of two hours of study per credit hour per week with the exception that I treat hard sciences as six credits rather than four credits. I also recommend recording lectures, and re-listening to them every chance you can do so.

This January, I'll be taking four classes worth 14 credits.

Thank you.

Thank you so much for the article I printed it out and gonna use it. I am also going to get a voice recorder, I think that would help me out a lot. Good luck this coming up Semester! :)

I'll be taking College Algebra, Intro to Nutrition, Gen Bio w/Lab, and Composition 2. Just make sure you dedicate an appropriate amount of time to each subject outside of the classroom, besides doing homework and assignments. It really helps not to just memorize material but to understand/comprehend it.

3 classes = 15 units.

General psych, nursing dosage and calculations, and English. Wanted to take one more but have been outta school in awhile and don't want to overwhelm myself with the workload.
