I never felt ready to take it. Yet I did and I passed in 75 questions. You are on the right track getting a good % on the tests. To me it was a lot more about learning the way to answer the test questions than it was about specific knowledge.
Good luck to you!

I agree with NCVegRN. You never really feel ready, but as long as you prepare yourself well, you should be fine. :) Your test scores are great by the way. :) You'll be fine, just know how to answer questions and keeping practicing. Good luck!
aww Thanks guys! :)

I was watching grey's anatomy and ER and everytime they had a DX....my mind would think of all the interventions I would do and what s/s the patient has. Or if my friends were saying something that had to do with medical stuff or they were sick or had a dx, I would think to myself all the possibilities that can happen.......that is when I knew I was ready to take the monster test........I was right cuz I pass......but then again, no matter how much you study, there will always be something you just don't know. this is when you take an educated guess. Good luck.

I take the BIG One next Friday. I already have butterflies in my stomach. I have battled test anxiety all the way through school but usually the nerves would not kick in this early. Any suggestions?

I took the NCLEX 6 months after i graduated from an adn program. I was thinking the longer I study, the better off I'll be. Well, that's true to a point. You know in your heart if you're ready. After all, you just spent two or more years of pure agony to simply graduate from nursing school. Take a prep class ie Kaplan or such. Learn HOW to answer nclex type questions and you're ready to go. Good luck The comp Will shut off at 75 questions and you can write RN after your name!

Does it follow that A students have better chance of passing the NCLEX the first time? Does it mean that if you passed the NCLEX with 75 questions you really did good in school?

If you have already registered with Pearson Vue and have paid the NCLEX fee, you may check out the available sites, dates, and time slots available on their website.
