Help! What do I need to take to my orientaion?

I have three days of orientation from 8 till 4 each day starting next week. Other than my proofs of cpr certification, immunizations, and TB 2-step skin test, I have no clue what I will need. Can anyone who has already been there, help me out with what I might need to take with me? I don't want to be unprepaired.

Wow! Three full days of orientation!?! I just have one full day and I was wondering what the heck they're going to do with us all day...I can't imagine doing 3!

We already had to turn in all our CPR certification, immunizations, etc. But I've been wondering the same thing. Is a notebook and pen sufficient?

What happens at orientation??

Is the orientation for a clinical class? Or just a college orientation? Will it be at the school or a facility?

I've got three days of program orientation coming up next week, too, and have been wondering what we're going to do and need for that time. I'm picturing something like new recruit intake for the military.

I just had two days of orientation. Bring a notebook, folder and pen.

I too just had my orientation yesterday. Ours was just one full day though. We did alot of signing of papers for the hospitals that we are going to be doing clinicals at and alot of going over policies and things like that. I agree, I would bring a notebook and a couple black pens. Our class had to download a 150 page ADN resource manual that was manditory for orientation. Make sure you don't need anything like that!!

I am a little nervous about my orientation in a couple weeks. They are calling it the RN Bootcamp and it is an all day event. I am a little nervous about the word "Bootcamp".

I have a 3-day orientation starting the 25th 8-4 as well. I know that a representative from elseveir(our books) will be there showing us how to access our books online. I hope I dont have to pack my books to orientation. I am nervous about it

0)Toothbrush, clean underwear and shirts.

1)Some fruit to share.

2)Intel. on clinical instructors so you can angle for a good assignment.

3)Voice recorder in case they say something outrageously funny so you won't forget and can share it here.

4)Composition book, pencil, pen, large ziplock bag, a couple of plastic grocery bags, umbrella if it looks like rain...

Oh! Money and identification
