Hey I'm so sorry you didn't make it the 3rd time. Don't lose hope, you can always take the test again until you pass! Try and try .... never give up!
My prayers are with you.

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED A KAPLAN REVIEW COURSE?

Or a review book. The Saunders CD would be good for practice questions, but you likely need the book for content review.

i just recently took the nclex for my lvn (i havent gotten my results back yet because cali sucks) but anyways i kept putting off taking my test for about 3 months! i would pick a date and reschedule it. i say this study saunders but not overwhelm yourself with it. just pick a date and stick with it and go for it again. good luck!
thanks for you advice. ive been doing saunders reveiw questions and i dont feel like im getting a good score..
For my school in order to graduate they made us take 4 practice nclex tests (different ones) and saunders was the last one. NOBODY in my class could pass saunders on their own and needless to say majority of those same people have passed the nclex. In my opinion saunders helped *me* with the rationals. All of the other study guides just didnt help me understand it. I think the highest I ever got on saunders doing 100 questions is 70% but I do ok with the study exams and the quiz's its weird.
-says the girl that doesnt know if she passed or not lol :)

Have you tried an online/live Review ?

I agree that you should find a live review, do saunders/kaplan, practice questions every day, and think positive. Good luck!

Luv2shop-try not to get too discouraged. I am so sorry for this recent test result and hope that you realize that you are NOT alone. Isn't it funny that we have so many areas of our lives where we really are valuable (as loved ones to others, in the kindness we have shown our patients, in the charitable works that we do, etc) but we still let one test sum up our entire worth? As for practical suggestions: do you know anyone who passed who might be willing to 'drill' with you? Have you taken a 'live' review course? Suzanne has great success (I've heard) with some study recommendations related to Saunders book. I don't know this firsthand, but I heard that she recommends that people go through the entire Saunder's book first, by taking all the chapter exams and if you don't get 75% on them, that you review the entire chapter's information. Maybe the CD information isn't the best way for you to study, maybe you would do better looking at the printed page (such as with the Saunders paperback book).
Please know that you are not alone- and you CAN do this!!!!!!!! Good luck!!!!
