So I just took the nclex exam and my computer shut down at 75 questions and i swear nearly half of them were SATA. About 30 min later my friend tried to re-register for me and I got the "good pop up". I went home about an hour and a half later and wanted to see the good pop up for myself....welllllll no instead NOW I get the pop up that says, "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time." WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Did they take back my good pop up because they decided I failed or do you think the place just smudged my finger prints or something?? Someone please help me I'm FREAKING out!!!

Results on hold could go either way. There are a ton of reasons, too many to list here, why they could be on hold. Try to be patient (I know it's SOOOO hard!!!). Hopefully official results will post soon!
But why would I get the good one followed by the bad?? What could that mean? Can they turn around and decide I failed?

On hold pop up is not good or bad. Just under review.
It could just be that they need to review it for whatever reason. Results on hold isn't the BAD pop up. The credit card page is the bad page! Try not to read too much into it! :)

I also took my test yesterday and my palm scanner would not work. My results are on hold. I'm really worried I didn't pass because I don't feel good at all about it. They say I won't know until Monday... .

My results were on hold for 2 days, then I got the good popup, then I passed. On hold doesn't mean you're out of the game yet! Keep your head up!
How many questions did you get? I'm thinking they must have to verify my prints? I mean I got the good pop up at first soon after..who knows. Good luck! I feel your pain let me know how you do!
SassyBSN- thank you! I'm keeping faith in the good pop up I had for at least part of the morning!

There is absolutely ZERO point in trying to figure out WHY your results are on hold. You can't....and it doesn't matter anyway. There are many factors involved, and you cannot guess what applies....and did I mention it doesn't matter anyway?
Sit tight, wait for results, and see how you did :)

Sabrina332, you mentioned that you wanted to go home to see the pop-up for yourself. So it could be that the on-hold pop-up is what your friend confused with the good one. I say this because I've never heard of Pearson Vue deciding 'after the fact' to put results on hold. So, don't convince yourself that a good thing was retracted....it doesn't work that way, at least not that I've heard of. Good luck!!
She sent me the picture so technically I saw it with my own eyes...I just wanted to do it myself. I don't know I just wanted to feel better. But it definitely changed from the good pop up to the hold pop up. I did get up to go to the bathroom so I don't know if they're investigating that or if my palm prints got smudged? Im so tired and getting down on myself. I refuse to take this test again. I studied so hard I don't have the energy to do it again.
