Okay someone has to have an answer to this out there, it is driving me crazy! I posted this on the Nclex forum, but I need some help ASAP!

I took the Nclex yesterday (Friday) morning. All of my friends have been checking the kentucky BON the next day and getting thier results. Well it's now Saturday night and I still don't have a license verification. I am really freaking out, crying, throwing up, you name it. I had 75 questions, mostly on prioritizing/management, disease process and teaching. I am so scared that I failed b/c my name isn't being recognized yet.

My question is: will if show up on the BON website on a weekend? Also, can you check Pearson-vue on a Sunday? I'm really upset and any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

I would not think it would be posted on a weekend. Sorry.

Hope all is well on Monday!!!!!!!:smokin:

BTW did you happen to pay the $7.95 fee for the privilege of viewing the quick results? I just had to ask.....

No, I thought that you had to pay it when you went to check it online. Do you think I will be able to check pearson vue tomorrow? It says two bussiness days, but lord I hope I don't b/c that would be Tuesday and I'm liable to have a mental breakdown over this. What about the BON? The computer says it updates continuously, does this include licensure I wonder? i just think that I failed b/c all my friends took thiers during the weekday and it was posted the next day but mine hasn't posted, I just wondered if it was b/c it was a weekend.

I took my boards on a Thursday and my license number was on the BON website on that Friday. Not sure if they do it on weekends tho. I wouldn't pay the $8 when you can just find out on there.

It takes 48 hours after you complete your exam to view your results at Pearson Vue. Log on with your user ID and password. If it tells you that your results are in you will be asked for credit card information and will be able to view your test results. It does not matter if you check on a the weekend, the site is updated daily.

Those questions are good. I got 75 questions, and I was freakin' out! I thought before "I will probably get 75. That'd rock". Of course, when I did, I automatically thought "OMG, I failed. I bombed"- esp b/c some of the questions didn't seem that bad, ya know? I got a lot of the mgt/priority questions also- I found out later these are the higher level of questions (good thing!).

I took my test on Friday morning. NC doesn't have the thing where you can call and check. All weekend, all day Monday, Tuesday I was checking the BON website to see if my name was listed as passed with a RN behind it. No such luck... Anxious anxious. Of course, I had found out right after my NCLEX (as I was leaving the parking lot) that I was indeed pregnant and it was viable. Talk about emotional days. lol

So Wed I get a letter in the mail from the BON. Oh God- It's going to say I failed and I have to wait and retest. Now I have to tell my folks I failed and I'm pregnant. I make DH open the letter- he hands it to me, it says I passed my NCLEX. :D :D :D :D :D

It was another week and a half before I got my license #, due to the criminal background check. Don't know why it took so long considering I don't HAVE a criminal background!!!

What you're feeling is normal. I am sure you passed, although that will be of no comfort to you until you see RN behind your name. :) Keep us updated!

Pearson-Vue updates 365 days per year, so weekends and holidays are included. But you have to be in a state that permits early notification.

No state guarantees that they will post licenses by a specific time. There are always variances that can happen...............for any reason. So I would not read anything into it.
