Anybody knows if a foreign family physician can work in the USA as a nurse?

......unless they graduate from an accredited nursing program and pass the NCLEX.
Foreign MD does not equal nurse, no matter how hard the MD tries.

There are a few threads here in the international forum discussing this but generally no you have to get approval from the BON and being a MD doesn't always meet requirements.

In a ddition they have to get the legal permit, as a nonUS citizen to work here. Depending on nation of origin/citizenship and the state of retrogression, 4-7 years is the wait in many cases to to get a work Visa.
