Graduation Cap Decorations

I don't start my program till January, so I won't graduate till August 2015, but I've already thought about the same thing! People at my school do it every year. They'll write "BSN" or "future nurse" or "nursing". You worked this hard so you deserve to show it off! Congrats & good luck!

I decorated my cap for my first degree, it was fun. I did rhinestones around the edges and all sorts of science-y decorations. My best friend just graduated with a masters in education and hers said "See ya in detention!" hahaha. Congrats on graduation!

Girl I was so tired by graduation, I didn't even do my hair for the big day. Lol oh well. Lovin' life and makin' money now! Do whatever makes you happy chica

At my school, most put RN on mortar board

That is so very sweet, I never thought of that. Both my parents passed away in 2001 & 2007 so that'd be a great idea to mention them. Sorry to steal your idea...my mom was my inspiration did wanting to be a nurse in the first place. I'm sorry for your loss & she would definitely be very proud of you!

Just check the graduation rules really closely before doing this! Just in case they have rules against it. My school does not have rules so I can do this.

If I didn't want anyone to "steal" the idea I wouldn't have posted it :). I, too am sorry for your loss. On my binders I will be putting pictures of her so when it gets tough I will instantly be reminded why I did it to began with. Good luck to you!! We will be starting the journey together.

I have attended graduation at Harvard a couple of times. It's a fun day, and all the grads from the different graduate programs do different things. The law school grads often put inflatable sharks on their mortarboards. The dental school does chattery teeth or toothbrushes. Public health has been known to use condoms. They all sit together in the Yard so it's fun to see the mass effect. Solidarity is good.
