Congratulations !!! I know how it feels since i have been applying for jobs and not heard from anywhere. I have one question though, what exactly does the RN do in a drug detox facility. Aslo, how did you apply for this job, in person or did you do it online? Any tips/ suggestions would be very helpful.Thank you.

I will have to wait and see what this job really entails. They did tell me it is not heavy in the skills you learn in school (caths, IVs, that sort of thing). The nursing is set up in such a way that one day you are charge, one day you assess and chart, and the next you might be the med nurse; that should keep it interesting.
I found this job listing in the Sunday paper and applied online, 2 days later I had an interview, and 2 days after that (today) they offered me the position.
Just keep applying to anything and everything, a job will come.
