So I may be taking a manger position coming up here in a month or so at my current job. But I still want to start nursing school. So, my schedule as a manager would be one of the following:
Monday and Friday off
Tuesday: 2:30-11:30
Wednesday and Thursday: 10:30 pm-7:30 am
Saturday and Sunday: 5:30 am-3:30 pm
OR
Friday-Tuesday: 10:30 pm-7:30 am
Wednesday and Thursday off
Would either of these be a viable option while in nursing school? And yes, I'm okay with not having much of a social life during this time.

For my experience with school in general, classes tend to be either all week, Mon/Wednes, or Tues/Thurs. I'm not sure that would work with your schedule.

I work full time and go to school. Plus I have 2 kids. It's definitely doable. You just need to find classes that work with your schedule. I've taken night classes, weekend classes, early morning classes and online classes as well depending on my needs for the semester. It's not easy and takes immense time management but it can be done. Good luck :)

I worked full time and went to school as well. They will tell you it can't be done, but it's possible. In my experience, I had no choice of what section to register for with my nursing classes so I did not get to pick my class times or my clinical times. I was able to go to classes by using my lunch break. And I used my paid time off to go to clinical.

In my nursing program, we go to school on Tues/Friday for 14 hours a week. We have clinicals on Wednesday/Thursday for 18-24 hours a week. I study outside of class for another 20-30 hours a week. I work 18 hours a week and barely have time for my kids and husband. Those in my class who work full time, mostly work the overnight shift at a hospital or care center.

As a manager you are responsible for people who call out. If you can't find anyone you have to work (you may miss classes this way). So I personally would decline it even though it may be more money, school is important if you want to move ahead. You can work full time and do pre-reqs if you aren't a manager. Nursing school I will be working part time during it, I also have 5 kids. I hear it will be almost impossible, yet people work full time while doing nursing I hear it's rare. My nursing school program is Mondays 8a-12:30p, Tuesdays 8a-11a, Wednesday every other week 8a-11a (meaning the opposite week is online), Thursday and Friday 7a-1p. I work 2 nights a week 7p-7:30a
