- Hello everyone, I am trying to get to the RN program with Hersing college here in Orlando FL, and I am going to take my NET february 8th 2008, i was wondering, how is the net test? is it close the the www.testprepreview.com ?
i have been studying for the NET based on the exemple from testprepreview, and i am doing all right, i missed only 2 question out of the 60!
my question is, will it be similar, to that? or harder? is that only basic algebra or more? will it also have TRIGonometry?
thank you for your help

I just took NET. It wasn't hard at all. If you know basic math and Algebra, you will be fine. The only thing that made me nervous was the time factor. The site you mentioned is good. Just try to work on your time and you should be fine. Also, your reading comprehention. The intructor I had that prepared me for the test said that most people have trouble with this part of the test. GOOD LUCK!

I would buy the NET Study Guide. I think Eri World sells it and it's approx. $30. I've heard the test is exactly like the book. I need to take mine soon too and I've heard it's not bad at all. Good luck!!

Definetly time yourself when you're taking the practice tests because that is such added pressure when you're taking the exam. As far as the math goes, its a lot of really basic math....fractions, decimals, percentages. The NET study guide really helped me prep for that stuff.
can anybody that took the test do me a favor?
can you check http://www.testprepreview.com/net_math_practice.htm this website, and tell me if the test is actually close to that?
i dont want to get into trigonometry, and college algebra if i dont have to, i am able to solve the test on the website within 57 minutes, and i was wondering if that is basically it, or if there is more to it...
thank you for understanding
"future nurse, trying to get into Hersing college Orlando FL:l"
I just checked it out and that's all that's on it.
I have been "eating" math and at those exercises plus another one "net practice" that i have found, and i am being able to score at least 58 of 60... and the mistakes i made were so foolish....
if you average my score it will come up to 96.6%
i so want to ace the net!!!!
and math always been my down side!!!
Can anybody assist me with some "net practice tests"? even if you can fax the erie test to me i will take it, i dont have the erie book i ordered it but 15 days has gone by and they didn't send it to me!!! so i canceled the order
can anyone be kind enough and e-mail the test practice on the erie book, or anything alike to me? fax or e-mail!!!!
thank you for all the assistence!

I have been practicing for the NET test as well, I'm going to be taking in a few weeks. I've been using a NET study guide book and its been worth the $30 sum dollars I paid for it. Its worth looking into! I hope you do well on the test!
Cherry i ordered the book but it has been 15 days, and they did not send it to me so i had to cancel the order!!! i am taking the net on the 8th witch is around 3 weeks away... and basicaly i am trying to focus on the math part, once I just finished my TOEFL i am quite a bit more confortable with the english part of it... i am practicing on a ratio of 3 to 1 , math and english!
so still, if anybody has the erie book, and would be willing to fax me the prep test i would kindly apreciatte.
Once after reading tons about it, found out that erie is the one who puts the test together, and having their test prep (just the questions) would be of huge value
thanks once more
Carlos!

You can buy an online practice test on the eri website for $15. I studied from that and the book and got a 100 on the math. Good luck!

Your college library will most definitely have a copy of the official EriWorld study guide. That's where I got mine at first.
i just took the NET-HOBRY practice test, i bought the 15 dollars pass for 1 week, and as i was working i took the test and was able to score 93 on math (28 out of 30) and 84 on the reading comprehension, wich left me at a 89% composite!!!!
for the first time did i do ok????? i studied and taught my self it all, without the eri guide.
was that all right?
i am going to take it again now, since i am on my break
and will post it!!!
yey!!!!!!!
