I'm sure we had a thread of funny kiddo interactions but I didn't feel like searching for it.
This happened a while ago but I was reminded of it today!
I was doing vision and hearing screenings for preschool kids and after conditioning for the hearing screening (dropping a block in a bucket when we heard a tone) this girl cracked me up. She was as articulate as could be :)
Me: You are so good at this! Let's try it with headphones on so only you can hear the beeps!
3 year old: *(side eyes me)* No thank you. That is scary.
BTW- she did wear the headphones after I assured her they did not hurt and tried them on myself :)

I have a kiddo who comes in and has breakfast in my office most mornings.. 3rd grader... one of our recent convos went like this
Him - I really wish I could have a girlfriend!!!
Me - What on earth do you want one for, what would you even do with a girlfriend at your age?
Him - (grins) you know................
Me - ......I do not know....
Him - I would love her forever!!!!
I thought it was the cutest thing. If she walks by he sighs and says... "there is my future family!"
Haha :)

Had a kindergartner today take a tumble in gym and insisted her gall bladder fell out.
I hope you were able to put it back in without incident!

Valentine's Day:
LD (tiny one): "I'm going to be single the rest of my life"
Office staff: "Now why would you want that?"
LD: "So I can be a bachelor and watch football and drink!"
I was just entering the office and almost peed myself in laughter. (I was running to use the uncontaminated restroom in there)

I had a 7 year old boy that looked really glum, I asked him what was wrong. He responded, "I am full of winter!"
