FSW Fall 2015

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

    Hey quick question for you all. Do you think they test for alcohol in the drug test? Just wondering because I like having a glass of wine every night to help me sleep lol!! My mother said that they do.

    Alcohol goes out of your system within an hour per drink. If you have one glass of wine the night before the test your fine.

    They test for:

    Amphetamines, Barbiturate, Cocaine, Cannabinoids, Methaqualone, Opiates, Phencyclidine, Benzodiazepines, Methadone, and Propoxyphene. That's what my test says.

    The guy doing my fingerprints said whoever requests them receives the results almost immediately. I think the nursing department has to review them to decide whether we are eligible for placement.

    I don't like to assume either. But if I don't see anything in the next day or so. I am going to email and just make sure.

    I emailed to ask when they would review it after we complete everything so if/when I get a response I'll let you know 😊

    Luther. Haha on your mom. I dont drink everyday but there is nothing wrong with a beer or wine with dinner.

    I have everything completed except fingerprints say waiting school like you guys.

    I cant wait to receive my official acceptance. It doesn't feel real yet until I see you are officially a nursing student at FSW. Lol

    So, I took my drug test yesterday morning and already my results are uploaded this morning! Super fast! The results for my certified profile background check is also completed and I am now just waiting on the FBI prints for the section that says "eligible for placement." Is anyone else's complete?:)

    My drug test results came back this morning also! That was fast! Just did it yesterday at 1400!!! I was expecting to wait for days lol only thing that I'm waiting for is the last part of the fingerprint "eligible for placement" but FSW has to do that. I'm so excited guys! I've been in an awesome mood since Monday lol
