FSW Fall 2015

I got my varicella titer and I was immune so now all my paperwork is done. I now have to upload it all to certified profile, I suppose to medical records because they never sent another update. I am going to drop off all paperwork Friday.

Yay, I cant believe I'm a nursing student. I thought the day would never come. Lol 4 weeks till class begins...but who is counting.

You guys are lucky. Charlotte campus has had a couple setbacks. The professor that teaches Fundamentals quit. We haven't received any more emails as far as a syllabus or orientation either. I'm sure they are trying to find another professor. Also, handbook was revised, so had to complete the new forms (minor changes). Other than that, all immunizations and paperwork are done! Yay!

I submitted all of my paperwork today. I got my FSW card, so the Nursing badge should come in the next few days she said. All of my books are ordered and I ordered my uniforms.

Being that we have already received the syllabus for Health Assessment (FT Days Lee), I'm going to get a jump on the reading for the first week. I wish they would give us the syllabi for the other classes as well.

Oh, no. Hope Charlotte campus finds replacement soon.

Anthony, at least you have one syllabus. I asked our proffessor since I actually have him for three of my classes and he said he hasn't made one yet gor any of the classes. I didn't go to summer and I have been so bored, I miss studying lol. I bet I won't say that in a few weeks.

Oh just of curiosity. I got an email saying about attire and I saw we need long socks to our calf. Are we required to have long socks?

Any part time recieved syllabus yet? I emailed one of my p roffessors which I have three classes and he emailed me outline syllabus. Only one I missing is pharmacology but I didnt email that professor yet. Will do tom.

Just start reading some of the books anyway. I've been trying to figure out the best way for me to study with all of our information. Not sure how much information we'll have to memorize at one time.

I actually want to read but its overwhelming. Now that I have some of my syllabus I sort of know where to startthough. However, I'm not sure if I want to start yet so I'm going to just enjoy my free time for now. Maybe a two weeks before school I will start reading.

Lol right now I'm organizing my planner and making master syllabus to print later.

Maybe collier is behind, but I haven't received any syllabus yet. Where is everyone looking?Has anyone else going to collier campus received one?

So it appears that we will be in the classroom for the first several weeks and then we will be doing clinical at a Nursing Home for a few weeks after that, before we get to do clinical at the hospital.
