FSW Fall 2015

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

    Still no other updates from part time program. I want syllabus to read. Lmao

    I got my books already but digital editions. I think its easier for me to have my books on my tablet and study anywhere versus buying heavy textbooks. Lol I even got my Saunders Nclex in digital. I used digital editions during pre-req and I loved it, so hopefully I like it with nursing as well.

    No, its not recommended to wear clinical shoes for anything besides clinicals. We can wear any sneakers to labs.

    My CPR class was very small so it was a bit less than 2 hours.

    I wanna say mine was 5 pages or so....looks like all the other one's we had in the past. Not sure about the attire one, maybe a page or 2 and the books needed was 1 or 2 pages......i did get a new revised Nursing Handbook, and a hello from my clinical professor on canvas

    Set up my ATI testing site, canvas and about to do my CPR course.....scan in the PPD and Certification again to the coordinator.

    All i have left to do is get my clothes, shoes, and books

    I saw that email about the ppd and cpr we have till the 7th for those still right ?

    Just ordered my uniforms too...only 1 set but we get a 20% discount...total $36 and will take 4 weeks (good cuz we dint have clinicals first 3 weeks)

    Make sure you say what campus, guess the embroidery is diffrent.....if you order anything else in store you get up to 50% off discount....only good on items you can take with

    You try on uniforms, they order both tops and bottoms, so dont expect to leave with them
