Quick Question, if you get the worksource scholarship, do you still get your financial aid as well? I don't plan on working the first semester and I could pay a few bills with the refund from financial aid if I still get it.

Yes, you get both.

Also there are tons of scholarships for nursing school students. Fscj offers some and you can do a google search. If you go to connections and click on financial aid there will be a section labeled scholarship search (I think). There are several for students in the nursing program.

Hey I'd you were talking about what was mailed to me from fscj it was my decal for my car. The envelope wasn't even big. I was so mad at my mother in law for getting my hopes up like that.

yes you will still get your financial aid even if you get the worksource scholarship. my friend who is also applying has already went and talked to a Financial Aid councelor specifically about this because we both plan on taking off from work to focus fully on first term (if accepted of course) (:

Memorial, he is a correctional officer and has to shadow the nurses and doctors when they attend to a prisoner. he sits in on surgeries etc.

I am hoping for days also! I think the nights and weekends are the limited spots. And yeah all of my neighbors are stalking the mail man for me.. Haha even though it's highly unlikely they will be in today's mail I can't wait to check it lol. This anxiety is killing me.

That is a pretty cool job. My husband actually tried for corrections and didn't have much luck. We are both doing nursing. I'm going first because I have everything done he's working on his pre reqs now. He will go when I'm finished.

I work out of my home office and my computer is facing the street window. I am staring at the mailbox all day. :)
