FSCJ SPRING 2015

Hello, everyone!

Since no one has started a Spring 2015 for FSCJ Nursing, I thought I would start it. I plan on applying the beginning of September I will take the exam in august. I'm very nervous of course. I have a preq gpa of 2.87 but I have an overall gpa of 3.23. Has anyone heard that FSCJ has changed their entrance exam to the HESI A2? Anyone applying to FSCJ hoping to get accepted for the spring?

So I'm assuming no one got anything today

I haven't checked yet

I emailed the lady that deals with admissions or I think she's an admissions counselor. I tried to see of she would give up some info about when the letters would start going out. I haven't heard from her yet but I'll let you guys know if she does tell me anything. I definitely won't hold my breath.

My husband has applied. I am the one who is biting my nails and can not wait to see if he gets in. He is all calm about it. ???? How??? I don't know. But that's how I know he will be a great nurse one day. :)

Nothing as of yet :(

No letter today

Uugghhh I'm starting to think it's going to be mid November before we hear anything :( especially since this is the first term with all the new changes with the entrance exam, pre reqs, etc. but!! I also heard that they didn't get as many applicants this term due to the changes. Uuugghhh I just wish we knew something!!

I am just worried about the cut off points. My husband applied with 178 points. I know that's on the low end. Hopefully with not that many people applying he still has a chance.

I just want to know something and soon. This is torture.

I'm there with you. I applied with 180.6 points. There is just so much uncertainty in that area.

I applied with 179.9 last semester and didn't get in :( this semester I'm applying with 202.2 so I'm hoping for the best :))

I am so glad I found this forum. I applied for the 2015 spring program as well and have been stalking my mailbox. I too emailed the lady in charge and have got nothing in return. I have all of my GE and Pre-Req's completed and just have the 42 credits from the actual program remaining.

Maybe we will hear something soon. My friend just got her acceptance letter from the BSN program and i think they are ran by the same people. So hopefully they are doing the BSN program and then this up coming week we will hear something about the ASN program. In the mean time, im am saving my money and stalking my mailman.
