Freaking out!!!!!

I recommend ATI. I used the Saunders book during nursing school but felt it was too much to look over for the nclex. Do a self assessment on all areas. Study your weaknesses and just quick review what you know. SATA are really not that bad once you know how to break down the question and know how to answer it. ATI also helps you to learn how to do that.

First of all breathe! Second find a study source that is right for you and stick with it. Some use Kaplan, some Hurst, others NCSBN, and some just the Saunders book. Poke around this section and read some of the personal reviews for each and make a decision based on what will work with your study habits. You made it through nursing school you know what does and does not work for you. Third keep yourself fresh on the basic such as labs, drug classes (not the entire drug book!!!), A&P, patho, and basic body system concepts. Knowing the basics can take you a long way in figuring out how to answer a question about a drug/disease that you have nearly no idea about. And finally practice a few questions every day and read the rationals! These will help you in understanding how to read the question, what the question is asking you, and how to answer it. I know that the test is scary but passing this test can be done! You can do this!

at least half of my 75 ?s were SATA. I am so, so glad that I did the Alternative Format Question book (from Lippincott, I think) cove to cover in the 2 weeks before testing!!

Oh boy aren't we on the same situation. What I'm doing now is watching Michael Linares's videos on youtube. He makes things pretty simple to understand and makes you go "oh yea". I also have the maryann hogan comprehensive nclex review and pda by lacharity.. The thick book just seems so much for me.. But the videos help me review better. He has the NCLEX course also but I dont know if I should take the risk... Or just go on ahead with other online reviews. I dont know what to do...

I felt like when I set my date ... IT REALLY MADE ME FOCUS. I made a plan and stuck to it! I went in on test day calm and confident (and passed!).
