Forsyth Tech ADN Spring 2017

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum....I ran across this post and checked my techlink and found out I got accepted ! I received my official acceptance letter literally just a few minutes ago (met the mailman at the door lol).

I haven't received mine yet....I rushed to the mailbox and didn't see anything yet. There's this new Web advisor I used and it has that my major is Associate Degree Nursing. Im confused

If you see your profile has changed to Associate Degree Nursing with an expected end date then CONGRATS, you've been accepted to the program and you should receive your official acceptance letter real soon!

I just called. I haven't received my letter yet because of my address change. I got in !!!

In regards to the CNA certification....If I completed the course back in high school (2005) and had a lapse but then went and challenged the test to become re-certified would that meet there qualifications of a CNA course? I am still listed on the NAI registry and it does not show the "challenged test date" but only the original? I know its a new condition they have now that you could not have challenged the test.

I'm not sure as I've kept mine up to date. But if you are still registered and your license hasn't expired I'm guessing you should still be okay? I'm sure it's something that will be covered in the orientation.

Thankfully I live in Winston-Salem but I've heard of people commuting. I've looked at the schedules for this coming semester and it looks like most options are class and lab from 8:30-3 twice a week and clinical from 6:30-12:30 once a week. Clinical days may be rough as you'll have to get up pretty early to commute but I'm sure you can do it! Also, do you have an email so I can add you to our Facebook group?
