Forsyth Tech ADN Spring 2017

Anyone on here planning on applying to the ADN Spring 2017 program at Forsyth Tech? I believe the deadline to apply will be in late September.

I got accepted into the LPN program for this Fall but decided just to go ahead and do the ADN route. If I had done LPN I wouldn't graduate with it until next Summer and then I'd have to work 6 months full time before applying to the LPN-RN transition. I'm just ready to get my RN asap! As I already have a BA (not in nursing but in art history) I'm planning on applying to the NNP program at Duke University as soon as I can after getting my ADN so I'm trying to the quickest route possible. Hopefully I'll have everything finished within 5 years!

I just did my MAR review today, and I'm taking the TEAS September 12th. :nailbiting:

I'm applying and took my TEAS test yesterday at Forsyth Tech. I feel pretty good. The proctor said that if things remain consistent like last year, I have a good chance of being accepted. I'm just waiting...patiently...praying.

My mother taught nursing at Rowan Community college,(justgonnagoforit). I went there before going to WSSU.

In about a month we should be able to check Techlink and under "Program Evaluation" see if we are in the program. It usually changes from "Gen Occup Tech-Associate Degree Nursing" to just "Associate Degree Nursing" before they even send out acceptance letters. I'm getting so anxious! Good luck to everyone!

So all I have to do is check my techlink to see if I have been accepted ?

They will send an acceptance packet in the mail toward the end of October as well. But usually around the 15th of October we should be able to see a change on our Techlink under "Program Evaluation".

oh wow ok cool. Thank you for responding. This is might first time applying to nursing school.

EVERYONE, CHECK YOUR TECHLINK! I just looked at my "Program Evaluation" and it changed from "Gen Occup Tech-Assoc Degree Nursing" to "Associate Degree Nursing". So I GOT IN!!!! Yay! Hopefully this means our packets will be coming in the mail soon as well. I'm crossing my fingers for everyone. I'll also made a Facebook Group for our class so it will be easier to communicate with one another. If you've been accepted please send me your email address in a private message on this site so I can send you an invitation to the group. My name is Stephanie, by the way. YAY! I look forward to meeting you all in orientation.

Where do I find this information? I've looked all over my techlink and I can't find anything that says gen occup tech-assoc. ..... Helpppp lol

Go to "Web Advisor Menu" --> "Web Advisor for Students" -->"My Academic Profile" --> "Program Evaluation" and you should see a change there.
