I could really use some advice. I just finished my BSN through University of Phoenix. I have been searching desperately for an online program for MSN with FNP. Anyone have any ideas? I applied to Graceland U in Missouri, but the deadline was 3 days BEFORE I graduated. I don't want to wait until May, 2009. PLEASE HELP!

Wow, to start NOW? I don't know of any that don't require application well in advance of the term's start date.
A big, fat congratulations on your accomplishment, though!

FYI: you probably could've started the application process before you graduated. Most schools will wait for your final post-graduate transcripts, if your grades are good enough.

and scroll down to post #3. This member has listed a lot of online NP programs. Good luck to you!
SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Stony Brook both have on-line NP programs.

Definitely, an answer.....Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. (physical location is in Hyden, KY and it's beautiful) It's got an incredible reputation, incredibly high stats on passing your board exams, incredible history and it's online. It's an 'august' school. check it out.
This is a fabulous program! We were able to go there in my BSN program, and shadow the nurses there. They are top notch. We also got to stay at Mary Breckenridge's house, too. If I were to do a midwifery program, it would definitely be there.
