Indeed it was.

Does the 6 months include your community practicum????

@LilyNurseGOal- Yes it included the practicum.

I must be misunderstanding something here. You did say you just finished your BSN (congratulations by the way!) I wasn't aware you can start a DNP program without a masters degree. What type of program is this I may be interested.

Hi Passionflower,

There are BSN to DNP programs in existence. You go from a BSN to DNP degree in 3 to 4 years, bypassing the Master's degree altogether. Mine will be through Bradley University.

Yes, I'm going to attempt to work and attend the program. I work full-time nights (3 to 4 12-hour shifts a week), so I will try do both unless school becomes too rigorous. Yes, the program is fulltime, and no, Bradley does not require the GRE. Yes, you should look into WGU. It's a fabulous program:)

Congrats.

Thanks Stargate Atlantis!

Hi there,

I am looking to complete their BSN program in 6 months as well. Which classes should I do first? I heard it's good to start with Community Health and Statistics. Do you agree? I also heard it's not a good idea to tell my mentor that I want to be done in one term. Do you agree? I'd love any advice from you.

Thanks!
