  1. What type of nursing are you doing, if that's not too personal. And did you start off as a CNA or with a RN degree? I might have to work while attending school, so I may get my CNA for starters.
  2. Might be an option. Would have to peek at a course curriculum to see what that major covers.
  3. How did employers view your online RN degree? Did that hinder your job search at all?
  4. I'm looking into nursing programs. A nurse I know commented that I should only consider brick & mortar schools since employers "look down" on online nursing programs. For those who have graduated from WGU, how has your job search experience been? Have you been able to secure employment? Has an online degree hindered your career? Thanks.
  5. It's college students too. Recently, students at Emory said writing the words "Trump 2016" on the sidewalk was a "violent act" and they felt "traumatized" and needed counseling. lol. If that traumatizes you, then you need a thicker-skin transplant. Until then, shut the frick up.
  6. That's a good point. Hadn't thought of that.
  7. Thanks. That's the kind of setting I was thinking of!
  8. I'm very interested in gaining the knowledge and degree of nursing, but I'd rather work on the administrative side of healthcare instead of the patient care side. Is it feasible to attend nursing school, pass the boards and then pursue more of an admin or office-setting type job? I haven't applied to nursing school yet so I'm trying to make sure I'm approaching this the right way. Thanks.
