Fingerprints

Hi there, looking for some advice please! I received my fingerprint card from AZ BON yesterday. Went to police station for printing, was told no problem, and I proceeded to get them done. Only problem, they wouldn't print on the supplied card, they printed me onto a scottish criminal records form! The policeman didn't state why the supplied card couldn't be used. So now i'm wondering if I send it will it get sent back to me? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm going to the US on holiday soon so if there is any doubt's I wondered about taking the card with me and getting it done there to save time. Cheers, Lou

A friend of ours did mine as they was in the police lol but not sure if they will accept if not on their card so would suggest taking it with you and seeing if it can be done whilst on holiday

Hows things going Lou?

Was told at the time (2 years ago) that only the card would do and that it should be completed properly and shouldn't be messed up as it would have been rejected. The USCIS mentions the fingerprint card.

You have to use supply card they will not accept anything else. My husband was a PC and they used the US cards all the time if requested. If he used ink then he was just being plain nasty. If he used digital then that is no good at all. Go to another police station or phone around
