Finally Passed the Third Time!!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every person who has written a posting. I have read so many postings for inspiration and motivation. I truly could not have passed if it wasn't for this website and for all the people who gave me advice. THANK YOU!

Third time around I read the Saunders book from cover to cover and made sure I got 75% or higher with the questions from each chapter. I also did at least 100-200 questions a day from Kaplan's qbank and NCSBN qbank. I actually did both qbanks twice. Studied every day from 8am-8pm with breaks of course! At night before I went to bed I reviewed my meds and labs. I was really determined to pass since this was my third time. I prayed a lot and went to church a lot to help me focus and to not lose hope.

My best advice to you is to really understand your weaknesses and work on making them your strengths. I think being positive and confident really helped me a lot during the test. The first 2 times I took it I had no confidence in myself and I kept thinking what if I fail again?? Make sure you keep positive thoughts and keep the negative energy out. Surround yourself with friends and family that believe in you. This journey for me has been the most life changing. I have never been so emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausted and tested thru out my entire life. This was definitely a lesson learned. Good luck and God bless to everyone who is going to take the nclex rn! My thoughts and prayers are with you...

I have to say...it was all worth it. I'm finally a RN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo :D
