Hello, fellow nurses! This is my first post. I have enrolled with Excelsior and I am so glad I met the October 1st deadline. Now I have to really focus and stay dedicated to make myself study on my own. I have been an LVN for 15 years. I have come to the conclusion that if I really want to Transition to RN I can do this. Good luck to all taking this journey:up:!
Apparently, they are implementing the 5 year science course recency like every other college out there. Before this date, your sciences can be >5 years old and still acceptable. You have to enroll before. I have already been accepted but I am still pending transcript review. I hope that this gets done prior to the deadline. I think I'll be okay since I've already been accepted.

The acceptance of courses >5 years doesn't matter if you are accepted to the school, you must pay the enrollment fee/start the enrollment payment plan BEFORE Oct 1, 2012 or you will have to retake those science courses.

Hi Beachy!
That Oct 1 deadline is the incentive that is going to push me into the pool! I've been dangling my toes in the water for far too long!! ![]()
