What was your score and GPA?

I got in with a 3.4 overall GPA, 3.78 prerequisite GPA and an 82 on my TEAS. I was denied for Fall, but accepted for Spring. Not sure if because I was currently enrolled in 2 of the prereq courses during fall applications had any play in being denied.

Danicee1221 do the BSN! This a golden opportunity and u never know if you are going to get it next time. And the demand for nurses with a BSN is on the rise now more than ever. Plus u can use thesenext few months to properly prepare for the program in the spring. Get all ur materials set in time and save up! I say FGCU.

Hey guys! I also applied to the program but I got into UNF right here in jax for this fall! So if I get in I will be declining (I'll check my mail later ha!) to ones that got denied, this is so true..never give up! I was denied twice by USF, UNF last year UWF, FSU, UF, and FGCU this fall. Keep pushing! You'll get in somewhere eventually. And always apply to as much schools as possible to increase ur chances. Good luck

Hey guys! I applied to FGCU nursing for spring 2018 BSN and was denied. I have a 3.93 overall GPA and 4.0 prereq GPA. My score for the TEAS was an 87. I figured my chances of getting in were pretty high and am confused to see that there are acceptances with much lower scores- does anyone have any ideas why this could be? I am just very confused about the selection process. Thanks!

Mnrnursing I totally feel u on this! I was denied for the fall as well as spring 2018 with a 3.94 GPA and an 81.4 on the Teas. Fgcu does this a lot as well as other schools that do not use a point system to select. I got into UNF on merit. My teas scores, GPA , and interview points was what go me into the program. Keep your head up girl, you deserve to get into a good school. And FGCU definitely needs to revise their selection process in my opinion. Goodluck!

You got denied for Fall, does it mean you can reapply for next term and go through the whole process again and wait to get accepted?

Yes, if you are denied you can use your previous application with your transcripts that have already been verified through nursing CAS. Spring applications and acceptances have already gone out, so next cycle to apply for is Fall 2018, with a deadline in Feb 2018.

what did you guys use to study for the teas? will this be anyones second degree?
