They are held at most hospitals in and around Jacksonville...From St. Vincent's and Baptist to Nassau.

To get in the FCCJ's nursing program, you have to have a Chemistry. It does not have to be one with a lab; there are ones you can take online. You do not need Biology...I would suggest grabbing an application from the student success center...it tells you everything you need...

You have to take the NAT, not the TEAS.

I will do that this week. I have received so many differnt information from people working at campus. It is good to hear the information from people who have been through the process. I might even schedule an appointment to see a counselor to get more information since even if I need Chemistry, I only need 4 more pre-reqs after this semester. Thanks!!

But if you want a BSN or MSN degree after this, go ahead and take Chem with the lab. You can't get into a the BSN/MSN programs without it.

I applied for the Summer semester. I have a 198. I'm nervous.

this is very true! i am taking the pre-reqs for fccj and also for a few other bsn programs at the same time. including chemistry i need 4 more classes to be done with the pre-reqs for fccj but need a few more if i want to get into a bsn program. i figured i would take additional courses to be able to get into a bsn program faster but this of course after i get my asn from fccj--since i would like to work as an rn while getting my bsn.

I am in the same boat, I have two more classes after this semester but I still have to take the NAT, unfortunatley I waited to long to take my algebra and it is putting me behind a semester for applying. I had to take the Chem with the lab well that is what they suggested so when I transfer for my BA I already have it.

moderators note. awiating link.

The woman who took my application said it could take up to 8 weeks...

That could take up until March 28th....ahhh I think I'm going to re-paint my whole house because of the nerves

Good Luck to everyone

They always say that. I'm a term one student and got my letter about 3 weeks after the due date. Good Luck!!!

3 weeks....ok...I think somehow that makes me even more nervous LOL...because that could be by the end of next week

*geesh*
