I just got in to the program myself, starting nights & weekends in January. The cutoff is usually 181 to 183 points, so you are close. It's a good idea to re-take the NAT, just to be on the safe side. Just know that you have to wait 90 days to retake it and can only take it twice per year. It is the exact same test the second time around and the questions are in the exact same order.

Thanks so much! you are so sweet and I can tell from your other posts that you are really helpful!! I am just trying to find someone who is applying with me...I had a friend that was going to do it but she decided to do SJRCC's instead...

The cut off for my group ( fall 07) was like 179. something. The cut off chnages every semester. I had a 182.96 and made it in. I just want you to know that you need to start getting serious now..start reading ahead and making notes to prepare for tests... and prepare to tell everyone you do not exist again ( as far as long term free time) until finishing nusring school.. you will be busy up to your eye balls... but youll learn alot and soemway some how youll end up having some fun in the process -- if you have any questions just ask Good luck!

And I just looked on my Artemis and my transcripts were evaluated which means!!!! I can apply to the nursing program!!! I am sooo very much excited...wish me luck! =)

I'm waiting on my transcripts to come in the mail and I will be applying for the summer term at FCCJ...I'm actually applying at SJRCC also...

I figured why not apply for both?

as far as points go I have 195.52...from what I'm reading on these boards I'm feeling pretty good about getting in **fingers crossed**

lol I completely forgot how many points I have...I submitted my application the beginning of Jan. so I hope they got it...lol

I readded them up and I have 195.8 points...

The woman who took my application said it could take up to 8 weeks...

That could take up until March 28th....ahhh I think I'm going to re-paint my whole house because of the nerves

ahh i am getting my application together to apply for summer '08...anyone else appying that is on here? i am going to retake the nat on monday and i have 185.88 points...if i do not get in for summer, i hope i will get in for fall because i do not have micro yet, i am taking it in the spring....ahh!!! i am getting so anxious!!

i took micro lab at my old school and it wasn't too bad...good luck with everything, you will do great!!

now that you mention micro...did you take biology and chemistry? i was wondering since i am attending fccj and when i look into my degree audit and it says i only need 3 more classes after this semester but it doesn't say i need biology or chemistry...is this right?

just wondering this way i might know whether or not to start planning on taking the nursing entrance.

also, i don't mean to overwhelm you, but have you heard about the teas?

There is a great site that has helped me to pick my teachers and so far has been 80% accurate...

Hope this helps, you can just put FCCJ spelled out and it has a lot of the teachers there. Sometimes it has a glitch where it says school not found, but type it again and it will come up. Not sure why it doe that but the site does work!
