I am assuming the LPN letters will go out at the same time. Nope nothing in the mail today.

I think the LPN Program get's theirs a little earlier than RN but no luck at the mailbox today! I hope we will know by next week!!

Man this is killing me. I wanna know already!!!

Hi Amy_ky84 how many points did you apply with?

Well, it looks like Im doomed! LOL....I have 188 points and applied for the Spring also. I am taking Humanities right now so if I don't get in, I should be okay for the summer. I decided at the last minute not to apply to SJRCC because I REALLY, REALLY wanted to go FSCJ. I just found out that my GPA was good enough to get into their Spring 2010 program...I was bummed! Oh well, like I told my hubby, I really want FSCJ and will work hard to get there! Good luck to you all and I hope that I see others post with points below 190 LOL!!!!!!!!!

The Wait is a killer. I will be so sad if I don't get in!

I only had 181....so it's not looking so good but I applied to the LPN program as well.

I am really hoping that today is the day!!! Amy if you don't get in the RN and get into the LPN you can just apply for the LPN bridge to RN once you are completed. Who's mailman comes early? Mines doesn't come until around 3:30-4ish I am sitting here stalking it

Ya know , they could always send a mass email to us with the point cut off as soon as they know it. That would eliviate about two weeks I bet. We all have an FCCJ email, right? DOn't mind me; I am going to start thinking up every little way we could know faster , lol!

I WISH I could apply for the RN program but considering my age I'm going the LPN route and the bridge option next. I am presently working on my nursing pre-req's. No one responded to my LPN question on that forum hopefully one of you can. I have 8.5 pts. out of 10 and was wondering if I even have a chance this time around? Thanks for your help...

I really don't know anything about the LPN program at FSCJ, don't they only take 36 students each semester? I wish you the best of luck with that but what I do know is they send out the acceptance/denial letters before the RN because last semester my friend applied for both the LPN and RN program at FSCJ she received the LPN acceptance letter first and then the following week she received the RN letter. Best of luck to you!

I agree with you as a matter of fact a lot of schools do communicate your acceptance/denial to the program via email and then send out the packets! I really wish that FSCJ would consider doing the same thing, its no way we should have to wait 2 months to find out if we have been accepted or not. When they are trying to decide who makes the cut they should hire temp staff to help them out if its 600+ applicants and its a 5 day work week they should process 60 applications a day for 2 weeks, the 3rd week should be when they have everything in the spreadsheet and decide who makes the cutoff and to verify everyone's address and 4th week mail out packets. There's no way it should take 8 weeks to figure this out! I can't stand this wait! November 1st is on Sunday, and on the website for the BSN it says expect letters for acceptance/denial on or after November 1st hopefully it will be the same for us too....The suspense is KILLING me!
