Fall semester classes '17

Hi everyone! The summer is winding down quick. I wanted to know what classes you'll be taking in the fall. I'm taking general chemistry and sociology. I'm still taking my pre-reqs.

I am taking A & P I and Microbiology in the Fall and will have A & P II to take in the Spring and I will be ready to apply to the nursing program.

Has anyone taken AP I and Microbiology at the same time?

Me! Well, my school separates anatomy and physiology. But I took anatomy alongside micro. In my opinion, anatomy was MUCH easier than micro. I enjoyed what I learned in micro but it was much more difficult for me to retain the information in that class vs. anatomy. If those are the only classes you're taking, you should be fine. If I can do it, anyone can.

I'll be taking fundamentals of med-surg and OB (I forget the actual name of the class but that's essentially what it is) as well as pharmacology II.

I did (well, it was A&P II), along with two other classes. It was totally fine, because I found both classes so interesting that studying never felt like a chore.

Good luck!

I'm taking Micro, sociology and two classes that are extra points for the adn program that will also go towards bsn- history 1302 and technical writing

Good luck! Chem can be difficult, depending on your teacher!! I just finished Statistics TODAY with an A, and I'm super excited! Such a weight off my shoulders! I have a two week break until I start A&P I, Microbiology, and American Literature II. I'm so close to being done, I can almost smell nursing school!! LOL

my school starts august 21st....

unfortunately, anatomy and physiology are separate courses (BOOOOOOO) so ill be taking anatomy and chemistry and hopefully nutrition.

good luck everyone! we got this!

I'm taking Pediatrics and Obstetrics plus those 2 clinicals. I heard Pediatrics is very difficult so I am kinda nervous. I've been reading a review book all summer.

Good luck this semester! I took ob/peds last semester and DAMN, I studied nonstop. There is sooo much information. I really recommend the Davis Success books if youre looking for additional resources.

What part of it was difficult for you? The interventions? If its anything like psych then im screwed lol

I'm still a total newbie student when it come to pre-nursing: this fall I'm taking intermediate algebra and Intro. to chemistry. The algebra is a prerequisite for Chem 2, which is a prerequisite for the actual prerequisites for the nursing program. Still working on building a strong foundation to get me to where I want to go! I'm very excited to start the semester!

I'm taking Patho, Chemistry, and a required elective. Classes begin next week. Goodbye Summer!
