I'm currently and EMT and I love the medical field, but I'm tired of riding on a rig and only being able to do the bare minimum to help someone, so I decided that nursing is the way to go. My eventual plan is to get my BSN but I wanted my foot in the door so LVN is going to be that foot!

the program is 12 mos cost is10000.. decided to go this route because northeastern school of nursing denied me.. due to this semester gpa... lady ofvour lourdes wait listed me until 2014!!

not sitting out and waiting.. when its all said and done... will be psychartic and community health nurse pratitioner!!!!

Did they close down New courtland. I called for enrollment,but they said they are not accepting any more students.

June 21st can't come any sooner!!!! Not to rush im enjoying school!!! So close and it feels like yesterday we started time is speeding away!!

The flexibilty of shift work - I've been a transcriptionist for 15 years so I know at the very least medical term and procedures (book knowledge) also because the rising cost of EVERYTHING makes it hard to get by. We have six children and my husband does well, but we still struggle to meet expensives every month.
