You will need to pay the fee for the exam, same as you paid before as well as the fee to the BRN for the RN exam if that is what you are sitting for.
Each and everytime that one needs to test, it requires full payment again. Each ATT is only valid one time.
I would focus on preparing for the exam again before doing anything about registering for it.
Best of luck to you.

Sorry to hear you didn't pass. If you want to do Suzanne's plan, you can read about it in the stickies at the top of this forum. She gives specific instructions on what to do and how she handles it. You will need to obtain a copy of the Saunders review book, edition 4 for RN prep or edition 3 for LPN prep. Good luck.
You reapply and pay again the fees the same way you did the first time. Difference is that on the application you have to indicate that this is a retake, not the first time testing. How many days after failure is usually 45 or 90, depending upon the state that you are applying to get a license for.
CA requires 45 days between testing dates. This is 45 days from the date of your exam.
You will have to pay the fee to CA, but not for the fingerprinting again; as well as the $350 for the exam.
Please focus on preparing first for the exam and not worrying about when you can retest. You want to have the best possible chance of passing it again this next time.

I am sorry that you failed nervous lady but the thing to do now is get back on the band wagon and do it again. Suzanne's Plan can be your fresh start. I am doing the plan right now!! Everytime that I have had to retake the test, You must pay for everything all over again. One person on this forum said it's like the lottery of how much money they have paid to retake the test but you know what? They have not given up, me either and I feel like the NCLEX PN testing has hit the JackPot with me. I just keep going back, I want my LPN nursing license. Keep your headup nervous lady, we are going to pass!!!

Take a break and then study again as though you have not tested before. Tests are recylced every 45 days so it will be all new.
Failure doesn't mean - " You'll never make it."
It means - It will take a bit longer.
You can do this. You have already accomplished graduation from nursing school. That's something to be proud of. Focus on the positives and you'll do just fine. I've had the pleasure of working with some amazing nurses who did not pass NCLEX the first time. Now they are excellent nurses who are mentors to new grads.
Hang in there.
