hi misspowers thanks for the reply. by the way . what number do you stop during your exam?.. and can you share any reference or books you studied in preparation for your nclex.. i too, apply for California for nclex. but i failed the 1st time..n ow preparing for the 2nd time. but i would like to transfer to another state.

Hi just want to ask, where in US state you apply and took for NCLEX-RN and Passed.. is it a first try or 2nd take....?..thank you fellow.

a year ago, i think until April. only the state of California doesn't require NLE passer. And i was one during that month who file my NCLEX in California. But due to the processing time which take 4-6 months. Last September 2008 they mailed me a letter requesting to send a photocopy of my national license as a nurse. Good thing. Im waiting for the release of PRC ID CARD last OCTober 2008. and got my eligibility letter DECEMber 2008. Very long waiting period huh. Almost all states right now, require for CES through CGFNS. and you cannot get that if you dont pass the NLE.. cause it require Verification of License in the origin of Country.

hi gian, i just look at your scores. thank you for sharing it. you give me confidence to take nclex again the 2nd time. You know what my NLE is higher than yours. but i failed my nclex 1st take.. so bad isn't it..so depressing...took my cgfns this month..still waiting for the result..

Hi Silverdragon, thanks for the information you shared. I just want to clarify something.. So you mean I have to take up the CGFNS qualifying exam and then if I passed I have also to request a Credentials Evaluation Service from the CGFNS. so that i can apply a nclex in minessota. By the way, if i can pass the nclex exam there. and because i am a foreign nurse and it will take longer for me to work there and get a SSN. Can i renew it?..without an SSN. Cause im thinking what if i pass the nclex and after the deadline i cant still provide my SSN. They might destroy my file and that would make me take the nclex again.... thank you and God bless

i pay 300 last year . i got a pink paper. not so nice. this year it cost 400.. i decide not to get it..
