Failed

I just found out from Pearsonvue that I failed. I looked at the screen in disbelief. I had 178 questions. I did as much as could to prepare for this damn test. I did about 3000 question in Saunders. I also studied the strategies in the Kaplan book. I don't know what to think. I know that I'm not dumb. Before nusing school, I already earned a BS and an MBA.

I'm so sorry. Grieve, rage, cry...etc. Then...get back into studying. Good luck - you can do it.

I am sorry to hear that! I will pray for you! I guess God works in mysterious ways. :-/

I'm really sorry to hear of your misfortune. Personally, I think the test is more like a crap shot than test of intelligence. Find out where you rweka areas were and the best you can do is study and take the test again and PASS. Good luck to you:idea:

Oh, I'm SO sorry! :( Nothing we say is going to make you feel much better, I know, but at least know that we feel your pain! I'm still waiting for results myself.

Someone said on another thread (and it may not be much consolation, but it's SOMETHING) that going in for the second time, you DO have a slight advantage that you didn't have before: you know the layout of the test site, how the computer is set up and such, and what kind of questions it asks.

Best wishes to you for next time!!

Omg, I'm sorry :(

Get back on that horse!! Don't let this setback keep you from realizing your dream! Find out what your weak areas were, study (yeah, I know you already did...but this time focus on those weak areas) and go give it another try.

We'll help in any way we can.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I know that other people are in the same boat. I'm probably going to either take the Kaplan Q bank questions on line or the Kaplan live course. The questions on the NCLEX are very similar to the Kaplan style except harder.

Oh sweetie (HUGS!) Like others have said, nothing is going to make the hurt go away and it's good that you've got a plan for the next time. You know what it's like, you know what to expect. Good luck on the next time and you CAN do this!
