Failed 3rd time

Please don't quit !! I have not even started school yet and don't know if I will (just found out I made a 16 on the act test) so I can either give up or try again ,again and again( don't know yet) I know you are heart broken but this is the devil in your way and we all will pray for you to over come this the next time if you ask. :nurse: This will be you!!

Please don't even think about it. You passed nursing school so you have what it takes to make it. Sometimes it doesn,t work the way we want but if we keep trying and stay positive and believe in GOD's promises and pray it will work out for us. I suggest taking a break and starting again. I will be praying for you. I will be taking my boards by the end of february, it is a challenge and we will make it.

its devastating to fail nclex. I failed 2 times and i still worked hard everytime. I remember inmy 1&2nd exam i did 265 questions and failed. I suggest there is something you did not get it. take a break and resume studying, study in the areas you are weak at. In my case i was weak at prioritization and infectious control i mastered the content and technique and passed on my third attempt. Never give up on your dream. There is a thread for facts throwing going on has useful contents to help pass nclex. Goodluck

I failed twice also and its very disappointing,but you cant give up now. Keep going and with prayers and believing in yourself, YOU CAN DO IT.:wink2:

:tbsk: relax and take a break for now and resume when your ready but give yourself atleast 2months or more to review, dont rush it.

Oh and Im trying out suzanne's first tip on here. I heard its good.

i failed my first two attempts and i took it again yesterday morning. if it were easy, everbody would be doing it. keep your head up and go again! nursing school was the hardest thing i've done in my life, no way i'm giving up at the end, you shouldn't either.

I know what you are feeling I took my RN boards three times before I passed. I felt horrible here it was a year later and all my classmates had passed I felt like a failure. But I learned I had to go through that for a reason and I was determined to get what God promised me and I did. It's for you but you have to wait til your appointed time. I would give myself a break if I were you then pray and study. It works I promise if you do your part and then ask God to lead you he will. Failing my boards has humbled me and made me appreciate my RN that much more. Yea I got upset when i failed but I never gave up on God because he never gave up on me. Remember God wouldn't bring you to it if he couldn't get you through it. You got through nursing school you can and will pass the NCLEX. I will be praying for you!!! God Bless.

I agree with everyone on here. Please don't give up. :nono: Fight a good fight the Lord is with you and he knows what is best. God's time is the best!!! :saint: I understand how you feel because I have also failed my boards twice in 2008. I'm already claiming victory in 2009. Take a break, relax your mind and get back into gear. Please we are all here to support one another. Just take the time to read about folks who have taken it so many times and through perseverance and prayer they have passed. Try Suzanne's plan because that is what I'm during this 3rd time around. I will keep you in my prayers. We can do it!!!!!!!

You have invested too much to quit now. Just take some time to regroup and start again. You will pass. You won't pass if you quit.

You have come this far...just think that you are walk away from all that you have worked for because you took it 3 times !! Girl pick yourself back up off that floor and just start over again.....

You are in a position where you are so very close to your dream to just walk away is not an option for you. There are people here who have taken this test more than 3 times and have succeeded. Search the posts here and you will see.

I know you think that is easy for me to say but I too took it 3 weeks ago and frankly I don't think I did well, but I can assure you that I will take it AS MANY TIMES AS NEEDED TO PASS....

Please just regather yourself and take a new approach to this. Our negativity can really take control if we allow it..

I don't want to sound harsh, just trying to help out.

Look at all the supportive people on this forum and those that have replied to your post, many have been down the same road.

i have taken nclex several times you may wanna read my thread about nclex exam is it true the more times you take it the harder it gets my last exam ended up to 265 i took the exam dec 23 dont know the result yet but im kinda assuming i already failed i feel like even if i keep on swimming im still drowning if its not because of my son and also the people around here who are so inspiring i could have drown already i was just always a viewer before i get a lot of inspiration here so hang in there do more than before, it will be worth all the tries.

I am already a working RN and a precptor oustide of US for over 1.5 year and I still failed. It is discouraging. Plus - it is quite expensive to rewrite each time! I'm goign to give it one more go! If I don't pass, maybe America doesn't need me :)
