Hello, I failed the nclex for the 2nd time. Im so frustrated. I would like to ask if anyone has any advice such as which study guides they used and which ones work the best. I used ATI in school and NCLEX reveiw by Hogan. I am thinking about doing Kaplan. My only reservation about that is that it is so expensive. I did purchase the Kaplan book with cd online and it was only 20.00. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Any study resource or review course will only be as helpful as you make it by doing the bulk of the work yourself. Just be persistent and you will pass. Do not give up.

Have you thought about Hurst review. Its $350, you can do live or online, depending on where you live. I was weak in content area, so I took Hurst Review, and when I was confident in content, I started doing alot of questions using multiple sources: lecharity book, vipra med, kaplan book, saunders CD question. If you cant afford Hurst review, I would recommend lecharity book, its great for studying questions, and just doing alots of questions, and reading rationales. Dont give up, you will pass this test, just work hard, and im sure it will pay off.

hello there! If you can't afford the kaplan review course don't feel too bad about it. Personally, the kaplan strategy book helped me tremendously when I took the nclex for the second time. If you can't afford qbanks I highly recommend the LaCharity Prioritization, delegation and assignment book. Good luck to you and don't be discourage!

Kaplan is very expensive as we all know, try to consider the program an investment. There is no guarantee that you will pass using Kaplan. The program relys heavily on you doing your part to succeed. It takes alot of time to really get through the entire program, I used my entire 3 months. Try La Charity, best $20 I ever spent. If you can't afford Kaplan, buy the Saunders book, read the content and complete the CD questions. Their questions are much easier than Kaplan, but their rationale goes into more detail which to me was more healpful. I hope that helps.

I used the Pearson Vue CD (questions and rationales).....it really helped. Over 5000 questions on it and it's the same company that writes the NCLEX. Kaplan is too expensive and don't waste your money on ATI. Good luck!
I feel that ATI did not help me out at all. It was included in the program with our tuition. Does anyone have a Pearson vue study guide that they would like to sale?

Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Wonderful scriptures. Even though we study hard if we don't pray and glorify HIM, it will be useless.
