Well I have failed the NCLEX for the fourth time. I had a nervous breakdown at first because I was so sure that i passed lucKily my husband was off and we did lunch. I must be honest and say when I began to get upset and then made a margarita. He walked in the door and got me under control. I have tried everything that you can for this test for about an hour their I was gonna give up now I am about to get back to the drawing board. I guess I can't give up when my significant other is telling me " What can I do to help you study?" So i figured I better get it together! So i pulled my lip up off the floor dried my eyes now I am at it again. Should I take a KAPLAN Class I have tried something different each time. Because what I did prior did not work you name it I have done it. HELP HELP HELP WHAT DO I DO NOW!

Keep your chin up. You can and will pass. I took Kaplan and I highly recommend it. The qbank is great, and is very much like the NCLEX. I passed the first time with 75 questions and I really credit that to the Kaplan course. I did Kaplans qbank questions every day, but I would only do 30 at a time, take a break and then do another 30 and so on. I was averaging 60% on the qbank and Kaplan said it was a safe range to pass NCLEX. Don't give up, it sounds like you've got a great support system and strong will to conquer the exam. You will pass!!! Good Luck!!!

Have you identified your strong and weak areas? If I were you, I wouldn't try focusing on studying for the NCLEX in a general way, but rather focus on those areas that you are having trouble in.

Look at the sticky of new revised tip of suzanne plan. I am following it this will be my third time taking it. I have heard alot of good things about her plan and the success people have had doing her plan exactly as stated. Many of the people who had to take it more than 1 time.

Don't give up, give yourself a short break and then jump back in, check out Suzanne's programme and follow it to the letter I am sure it will help.
Just like to ask though what are you normally like in exam situations? It may be exam nerves pulling you down
Good luck

Would be nice if the OP posted back and said she passed on the fifth try. Good luck to anyone retaking. It's just something you go through until you pass.

I am a new RN grad but been a LPN for 5 years, I have a friend who just passed the RN NCLEX, after 4 years of trying. She did Martins Review I hear she specializes in people who have failed, however it is not in every state like KAPLAN, I have taken KAPLAN but I would recommend you do Martins Review just google it. It is highly recommended by people and other RN's. If I knew about it, I wouldn't have taken KAPLAN. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

I failed three times. I almost lost it. I had no structure in my studying, nothing. Those exercise questions just make you belief. I did a full week live review with www.nclex-tutorial.com and I made it. Everybody can do it. It is just so much information out there that the graduates are overwhelmed. A lot of the studying tools are just making somebody rich but nothing else. I saw about 50 % of my friends fail although some had straight A's in College.
