Failed NCLEX RN

:( I feel so horrible, everything was riding on this exam, and i just found out that i failed. i feel like a complete idiot. I studied extremely hard for it as well. I took private lessons from my professors who has published 5 books, one on how to pass the nclex, and i used exam cram, which i though was a very good book.:crying2::crying2:

I don't know what to do now. I had a job lined up, i was supposed to move out and start this new life... aagghghhh... this sucks...

Any study tips? Any books that is recommended? People that have used exam cram, did you find it helpful....

I would do about 150 questions a night for two/half weeks leading up to the nclex, should i stick to that? Any advice would be greatly appriciated:cry:

Sorry to hear you did not do well this time.sad0020.gif Try to stay as positive as you can. Take time for yourself before you start studying again. This way you can mentally prepare. Take a look at Suzanne's Plan and see if it is right for you.

Remember, what worked for someone else may not work for you.

Most of all, good luck and best wishes. sign0111.gif

I used Exam Cram along with some older Saunders books and also the random facts thread here to study for boards the second time around and I passed by the grace of God. I had a job contingent upon me passing so it sucked to tell them I didn't pass and couldn't take the job. At least now you have some idea of the types of questions they ask. I made sure to know my infection control precautions and that came in handy. You passed Nursing school, I'm sure you can do this also.

Good luck, you will be a RN! Did you just do questions, or did you review content as well? IMO, it helped me alot to review content

I am doing kaplan review and saunders

really sorry to hear about this this heart goes out to u but some people recommend that you do like 2000+ ques befor the exam. Best of luck on retaking the test
