Medical terminology if you haven't taken it already.

My class also offered "Study of Disease Processes" and "Basic Pharmacology" outside of nursing classes...they were electives for any type of allied health student. I took them and it helped me when I took nursing patho and pharm.

I also took a class called Death & Dying.

can i brush up early with an amazon book before i take the class?anyone that you like a lot?

thanks btw

I also suggest Med Term! I took it just to stay full time at my old school and I'm glad I did, it's SO helpful. I just finished patho and many people said that they wished they'd had a med term class because it was hard to remember all the new terms without being able to make connections. It's a very simple class (usually offered online) and you'll be able to apply it to so many classes.

Not required but it is recommended that we take Math Dosage/Med Math at my school.

While doing pre-reqs, I took classes that were required for a number of schools, not just the one that I eventually went to. One school near me required nutrition as a pre-req (my chosen school did not), but it does help.

We have a "Spanish for Nursing" class that I'm going to take.

I took med terminology as its not required ( why i dont know? ) but I also took scuba diving to help relax with the insane load of classes I had.
