Emory CRNA 2018

Published

I didn't see a thread for Emory's 2018 CRNA program yet - figured I would start one! I'm very interested and working on my application now! Anyone else looking at applying?

Just an update - completed my application for the priority deadline! Any other applicants out there?

Did you get an interview invite with Emory? I have a regular application deadline pending.

Yes, I did! I'm not sure how many applicants there are for the priority and regular deadlines, but good luck!

Yes I applied and received an email today for an interview in Oct. Anyone know anything about the interview? How it is setup? Or even how many are interviews since they only select 10-15 for their DNP program- I believe. Look forward to hearing from people! Thanks!

For 2018, they are accepting 10 students. Apparently, last year there were 70-80 applicants for 10 spots. I imagine that the pool is larger this year since they are accredited and I think more people are aware that they have a program.

Are you already accepted into the program?

CCUNurse, how was your interview?

Hi everyone

I've applied to the CRNA program at Emory for 2019 and am very nervous!

I am current a board certified nurse practitioner, but always wanted to go to nurse anesthesia school, that was the reason I went to RN school to begin with but feel like I didn't have the confidence to apply in the past, and life got in the way!

But now I have the opportunity to apply and am very excited!

for anyone that's in the program, can you tell me a little about expectation for the program and how to prepare for the interview?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

THANKS

Is their program really as expensive as it says on all crna schools because that is the most expensive program i think i have seen for just tuition and such.

I just dont see how it is worth it to pay that much when there are other schools way cheaper and im sure just as good
