Hi everyone, I'm wondering does anyone know what our hours for skills lab will be? My schedules says Thursday but time will be announced.

Don't go off of what the schedule says, you should get a finalized schedule when the semester begins. Skills lab hours will be all over the place. Anywhere from 2-3 days a week for 5 hours, or up to 8 hours long. You'll have to be very flexible, the days aren't very consistent.

Does anyone know if we are required to bring all of our textbooks to orientation?

I think just the e-books! Do you know if we need the skills package by orientation?

I had totally forgot about that. I think they said something about bringing just the access codes. I don't think we bring our books because they are too heavy to take.

...if your orientation is anything like ours was, than no, you do not..

...you should not need your skills pack by orientation, but at least have it prior to your first scheduled lab day...you will receive a list of all of the items included in your skills pack for first semester, go through it to make sure you are not missing anything, if you are, you will need to let the lab supervisor know..also, your skills pack has supplies for all four semesters, keep track of it...there will be a few items that are not included in the skills packs, you will get some from the lab supervisor and will need to purchase some from a medical supply store...

...one of your orientation days will be with the Elsevier people, you will need your codes for ebooks on that day, they will walk you through entering all the codes into evolve so you can access your books online...your orientation schedule should have a day and time for everything you need and where and what time to be there...

Thank you so much!! I feel so lost with all of this...do you know anything about an ATI package?

...no problem, you pay about $270 per semester for ATI, a few weeks into the semester you will receive the ATI books that you can use to study for exams and board exam to get your RN license...during the semester you will have a few assignments due in order to be able to take the course exams...
