Hi AshPang....Thanks for the great info on your schedule. I've got a dumb question for you if I may. Just wondering if you could tell us what color the scrubs are for the program at Northlake and what the uniform regs are for shoes..ie: color, etc....

Thanks for your input

Not dumb at all :) Happy to answer...The uniform brand is Landau, guys get the black drawstring pants and a blue V-neck top; the girls have a blue button down top and black elastic waist tapered pants with the with a crease (sorry, they are terrible!!) Shoes need to be all black, but a logo on it thats a different color is usually ok, but you can always double check with the Dean if you have any questions if its acceptable.

Thank you so much for the info. This might give me an opportunity to pick up some shoes during the early Christmas sales.

Thanks for the input. However, I was wondering if its possible to work full time? I'm pretty worried because I have to start looking for a new job soon, but I'm hoping I can continue to work full time if possible. What are you thoughts? Do you know of anyone that is currently going to school and working full time?

I know a few nurses that worked 32-40 hours a week and made it through. They didn't have children though.

I know! I'm just ready to get started I do have 3 daughters, I need the money, but I'm also willing to sacrifice for two years if that's what it takes :( it will at be worth it in the end

I'm in the first semester of the THR/El Centro program and have worked 36 hrs the whole time. I also have a family (2 kids under 3 and a husband). I think all in my class work at least 24 hrs. I work weekend nights, Fri-Sun 7p-7a. I have had that schedule for almost 3 yrs and luckily it works with my schedule. My school schedule is Tue lecture 1-5, Every other Wed is clinical, and Thurs is skills from 9am-7pm.

Congrats to those accepted! If you didn't get in keep trying! I applied once to the traditional program and got in on the 2nd try to the partnership with THR. Good luck!

I got my acceptance letter!! I'm sooo happy ! I'm in THR program yay!!!

Congrats! I'm in the first semester right now!

Really?? THRs?? If so i have a ton of questions. How many clinical days do you have a week and am I going to be going Arlington a lot for in class? Are you liking the program so far? Any advice?? Thanks in advance :)
