Hey everyone,
I'm getting ready to start Excelsior and have a quick question. When looking at eBay for study guides a lot of them refer to Nursing Concepts and also Essentials of Nursing. Are these one in the same? The way they are marketed, it looks almost as if they are interchangeable.
I have several friends that have successfully completed Excelsior using these study guides, but it was before October 2007. Before I purchase anything, I just want to make sure that I'm not going to purchase anything outdated and inaccurate.
Thanks for any advice.

The difference in the curriculum before 10/07 is that each exam was worth 4 credits. The new curriculum exams are 3 credits....so it's all the same info but split up a little differently. You could easily use the old curriculum modules, just for some of the exams you may have to use 2 modules. Compare your Excelsior content guide to whichever you're using to make sure you're covering all you need to study. Good luck!

I THINK you can use those same study guides your friends are using........slight difference for NC 3 and 4.
I'm not 100% positive on this. Maybe the more experienced ECers can help me with this one!!!!!!??????

I personally liked the college network modules but would not rely 100% on them. I used a variety of information. Including the recommended books. You can get them on Half.com
