Earrings?

I know it probably depends on school and hospital. But any guys here were earrings? What is your experience with them? just wondering cause i have small studs in both ears.

I rocked a diamond stud all throughout school, never had any issues

Nursing program policy: one stud per ear (for guys) in the classroom/lecture only. In any clinical site, no earrings for guys.

In the hospital system for which I work now: guys are allowed one stud-type earring per ear

I don't have earring but men having it is quite look cool but then i don't recommend men having a earrings.

If females can wear studs then males can as well. Otherwise that is gender based discrimination.

It's all fun and games until an altered pt or some one else rips them out of your ears. Why present an easy target?

I wear earrings. Just not to clinicals. In class the teacher doesn't seem to care

In my college institution we are not allowed at all to have piercings during clinical area although I have seen employees wear them. I guess it depends on your institution and their policy. I personally don't care about it but it's better you check out.

I have several piercings in both ears, I am expected to follow the same guidlines the women are, I am permitred one stud in each ear and must remove the others while on clinical site. We are rather casual in class so I am allowed to wear all of them if I like.
